Mary L. Gilmore, 91, of Sanford, died July 3, 2009 at Central Florida Regional Hospital in Sanford.
She was born in Dothan, Ala. and was a foster grandparent. She was also a member of the Deaconess Board for the St. John Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her brother, Alvin “Butch” Hicks of Sanford.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. John Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Ronald Critton officiating.
Wilson-Eichelberger Mortuary, Sanford, is in charge of all arrangements.
