CLEO BARKER, JR.

Cleo Barker, Jr., 60, of Troy, Ohio, passed away March 31, 2010, at his residence.

He was born on February 22, 1950, in Sanford to Cleo and Louise Clara (Pierce) Barker, Sr. His mother preceded him in death and his father survives and resides in McCoy, Fla. Cleo retired as a construction worker.

Other survivors include his companion, Linda Walters of Troy; 4 daughters, Angela Donovan of Deltona, Florida, Sharon Barker of Sanford, Florida, Michelle Reno of Sanford, Florida, and Lynda Mayes (Daniel) of Harrison, Michigan; son, Richard Walters of Olympia, Washington; 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters, Janet Carroll of Tennessee, Dee Monk (Jim) Florida, Bobbie Foster (Ray) of Florida, and Clara Louise Puskas (Mack) of Florida; 2 brothers, Daniel C. Barker (Donna) of Florida and William Barker of Florida.

There will be a private service held at the convenience of the family.

Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio, is in charge of all arrangements.

IVEY CHESTER “MONK” JOHNSON

Ivey Chester “Monk” Johnson, 74, passed away March 28, 2010 at Central

Florida Regional Hospital in Sanford.

He was born in Sanford October 3, 1935 and was married to Mildred Lee in 1953. He was a self-employed electrician, a member of the Shrine’s, the Sanford Elks Club, the American Legion and the Mason’s.

He is survived by his Wife, Mildred Johnson: his mother, Agnes Johnson: two brothers; William D. Johnson and Randy Johnson: two sisters; Paula Johnson and Cindy Kiley: and nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on today (Saturday) at 1:30 p.m. at the Brisson Funeral Home chapel in Sanford.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Ronald

McDonald House or the Bahia Shriner’s Hospital for Children in Orlando at the following address’s: Ronald McDonald House Charities, Attention: Charitable Accounting, One Kroc Drive, Oak Brook, Il. 60523; Bahia Shriner’s Hospital for Children, 2300 Pembrook Drive, Orlando, Fla. 32810-2469.

Brisson Funeral Home, Sanford, is in charge of all arrangements.

CHARLIE LUSTER

Charlie Luster, 73, of Sanford, passed away March 30, 2010.

He was born in Perry, Ga. and worked as a truck driver. He was also a member of Progress Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Christine Luster of Sanford; sons, Michael Luster of Sanford, and Herman King of Boston; brother, Asrie Luster of Macon; sisters, Rebecca Luster and Essie Bell Keen, both of Perry, Ga.; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held today (Saturday) at 1 p.m. at Progress Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Emory Blake officiating and Reverend Matthew Jackson delivering the eulogy.

Wilson-Eichelberger Mortuary, Sanford, is in charge of all arrangements.
