HURAN BROWN, SR.

Huran Brown, Sr., 56, passed away April 8, 2010 at his home.

He was born on August 5, 1953 to Willie Jackson and Rosalee Brown in Lanes, S.C. He enjoyed watching football, comic books and was an avid reader. Huran worked for 25 years as a cook for the A.G. Holly State Hospital in Lantana, Fla.

He is survived by his loving family, wife, Mary T. Brown, Sanford; son, Alfred, Orlando; daughter, Tequilla, Sanford; son, Huran, Jr. Sanford; son, Thurman, Sanford; mother, Rosalee Brown;3 brothers, Curtis, Ft. Lauderdale; Billy and Nathaniel, both of Boynton Beach; 5 grandchildren Aryona, Lamarrion, Ashia, Huran, III and Isaiah. Huran is preceded in death by a daughter Tanisha.

The family will receive friends at the Gramkow Funeral Home on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and a funeral celebrating Huran’s life will be held on Saturday at the Gramkow Funeral Home at noon.

Gramkow Funeral Home, Sanford, is in charge of all arrangements.

ROBERT “BOB”

GAM, JR.

Robert “Bob” Gam, Jr., 52, passed away suddenly on April 10, 2010 in Volusia County.

He was born on July 5, 1957 in Glen Cove, Long Island, N.Y. to Robert and Ruth Gam. He was a lifelong musician and motorcycle enthusiast.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Elinor Gam, Sanford; mother, Ruth Frances Gam, Eustis; sisters, Cathy Wegner, Eustis, and Lisa Grayford, Clermont. Bob is also survived by his loving pets, extended family and many many friends. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Gam, Sr.

A Memorial Service celebrating Bob’s life will be held at noon on Friday at the Gramkow Funeral Home. The family will receive flowers at he funeral home or you may choose to donate to his favorite charities. North Shore Animal League 25 Davis Avenue, Port Washington, N.Y. 11050 or to the Coalition for the Homeless.

Gramkow Funeral Home, Sanford, is in charge of all arrangements.

EARLEAN MEDLOCK

Earlean Medlock, 53, of Sanford, passed away April 10, 2010.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at Calvary Temple of Praise in Sanford. The pastor is Pastor Bishop Hall Wright.

Marvin C. Zanders Funeral Home, Apopka, is in charge of all arrangements.

EARL EVERETT

MINOTT

Earl Everett Minott, 78, of Sanford, passed away April 9, 2010 at Central Florida Regional Hospital.

He was born in Miami, Fla. and lived in the area for 71 years. He was a retired educator who worked for Seminole County Public Schools. He was also a member of Saint Paul Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by his brothers, Carl Minott of Philadelphia and Curby Minott, Jr. of Columbia, Md.; and two nieces and two nephews.

Visitation will be held Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Calvary Temple of Praise with Rev. Dr. Ronald W. Merthie officiating and Rev. James Whyte delivering the eulogy.

Wilson-Eichelberger Mortuary, Sanford, is in charge of all arrangements.
