Marie B. Ferrell, 85, of New Smyrna Beach, passed away at home with her family June 27, 2010.
She worked various secretarial positions with Seminole County Tag Office, Civil Defense and FHA. She retired to New Smyrna Beach where she donated her time as a Pink Lady Volunteer at Bert Fish Medical Center. She was a long time member of Coronado Methodist Church.
She enjoyed walking on the beach and will be missed by her special friends, Madge Baker, Clara Fletemeyer and Helen Weiss.
She is survived by her daughter, Beverly (Robert) Powers; sons, Jack (Betsy) Hunt, Robert Hunt, and Juston Hunt; grandchildren, Bryan, Sarah, Brice, Jake and Nona; sisters, Ruth Schmohl and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service on the beach is being planned. In her memory, the family suggests donations go to Hospice of Volusia/ Flagler, 3800 Woodbriar Tr., Port Orange, Fla. 32129 or the Pink Ladies of Bert Fish Medical Center, New Smyrna Beach.
MYRA FAYE WILSON
Myra Faye Wilson, 73, of Ocoee, passed away July 13, 2010.
She is survived by her spouse John H. Jr.; son, Randall E. Weldon; daughters Patricia A. Romine and Cheryl J. (Larry) Pressler; brother Wayne (Laura) Smith; sisters Marie Smith and Rosemary Dingus; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at noon at West Orlando Baptist Church in Ocoee. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to West Orlando Baptist Church. Collison Carey Hand Funeral Home, Winter Garden, is in charge of all arrangements.
