What: Primary care physicians from Nemours Children’s Health in Central Florida will host a free newborn class on Wednesday, Jan. 29 at 6 p.m. to help expecting parents or caregivers navigate the basics of caring for a newborn baby.
During the class, Nemours Children’s experts will share insights on what parents and caregivers can expect when leaving the hospital, teach and demonstrate commonly used skills and answer questions from attendees. Those in attendance can also expect to garner insights on topics like sleeping patterns and sleep safety, eating habits (including breastfeeding and formula feeding), general care and when to call a pediatrician or seek other medical help.
In addition, Spanish-speaking physicians will be available to provide information in Spanish.
