The Seminole County Office of Emergency Management will be hosting it’s annual Touch-A-Truck event on Saturday, Feb. 1 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Sanford Riverwalk, E. Seminole Blvd. and Palmetto Avenue, downtown Sanford.
The event will kick off Severe Weather Awareness Week. Families, kids and the community are invited to come and check out the trucks, boats, helicopters and other special heavy equipment that local agencies use during severe weather events and other emergencies.
