SSC SOFTBALL
The Seminole State College of Florida softball team (2-0) opened its home schedule with a doubleheader with Lake Sumter State College on Friday and will host Florida State College at Jacksonville in another double-dip today (Saturday) at noon at Courtney Miller Field.

SSC BASEBALL
The Seminole State College of Florida baseball team (1-2) traveled to the State Capital to face Tallahassee State College on Friday, and will make its first home appearance today (Saturday) with a doubleheader against TSC beginning at 1 p.m. at Jack Pantelias Field. The Raiders will also be at home on Tuesday to host Daytona State College at 1 p.m.

STETSON MEN
The Stetson men's basketball team (7-15, 5-4 ASUN) dropped a heart breaker to North Florida (11-11, 4-5), 101-100, on the road Wednesday, after battling back from a double-digit deficit and forcing overtime.
All five of Stetson's starters scored in double figures, led by Jordan Wood's career-high 26 points and 11 rebounds for a double-double. Josh Massey added 22 points, while Jamie Phillips Jr. contributed 17 points and 4 assists. Mehki Ellison had 14 points and 8 rebounds, and Adramo Canka chipped in 12 points and 8 rebounds.

The Hatters will travel to Fort Myers today (Saturday) to challenge FGCU at Alico Arena at 1 p.m. The game will be streamed on ESPN+.
STETSON WOMEN
The Stetson women’s basketball team (10-10, 4-4 ASUN) returned to action in a rare morning contest on Thursday, hosting Austin Peay for Elementary Day at 11 a.m. in the friendly confines of the Insight Credit Union Arena, and will complete a 4-game homestand against Lipscomb today (Saturday) at 2 p.m. The game will be streamed on ESPN+.
VOLUSIA SPEEDWAY PARK
Volusia Speedway Park in DeLeon Springs/Barberville is hosting the “Federated Auto Parts DIRTcar Nationals” beginning on Thursday and continuing over the next three weeks.

Week 1 (Jan. 30-Feb. 1): American Sprint Car Series National Tour and DIRTcar UMP Modifieds.
Week 2 (Feb. 3-Feb. 8): DIRTcar UMP Modifieds, World of Outlaws Sprint Cars.
Week 3 (Feb. 10-Feb. 15): World of Outlaws Late Models, DIRTcar Late Models, Super DIRTcar Series, USAC Non-Wing Sprint Cars.

The Men’s League on Tuesday has The Handicaps tackling The West End Trading Company at 6:30 p.m. and Venezolanos en Sanford battling the Bokey Batters at 7:30 p.m.
The Semi-Co-Ed/Fun League on Wednesday has Pat’s Liquor playing a doubleheaders against Wet Spot at 6:30 p.m. and Throwbacks at 7:30 p.m. The West End Trading Company will challenge Fusion at 8:30 p.m.
Everyone is invited to watch the games for free at Pinehurst Park on West 24th Street.
