Black History Month Movie Night Series 

Mondays in February, North Branch Library, 150 N. Palmetto Avenue, Sanford. Are you looking for something fun and free to do together? The North Branch Library will be showing a movie series in February starting at 5 p.m. on the following dates: “The Princess & the Frog” (Family movie) on Monday, Feb. 3, “Ray” on Monday, Feb. 10 and “The Color Purple” (2023) on Monday, Feb. 24. Teen D&D Club

Farm to Fork 2025   Webinar Series

Tuesday,  Feb. 4: Season Your Life: Intro to Herb Gardening. Join UF/IFAS Extension Seminole County to learn all about food from farm to fork. We will meet on Zoom once a month for a one-hour webinar. The webinar is free to attend, but you must register in advanced on zoom. The webinar is Part 1 in our monthly Farm to Fork Sessions. On Thursday after each webinar, we have Part 2, an in-person workshop, with hands on activities that pairs with webinar.Pre-Registration Required: http://seminole-extension.eventbrite

Line Dancing Lessons

Thursdays, Feb. 6 & 20, 5:30 p.m., DeBary Hall Historic Site, 198 Sunrise Blvd., DeBary. Line dancing is a great way to exercise your mind and body. Beginner line dances to various music genres. Museum of Geneva    History

Arbor Day Tree Giveaway

Monday, February 10, 8 a.m. to Friday, March 7, 5 p.m. registration begins. Embrace Arbor Day by planting a tree. Winter Springs residents can register online to receive a complimentary tree delivered to their home just in time for the Arbor Day celebration. Limit one tree per household. 

 

Hands-Only CPR and AED Class 

Tuesday, February 11, 6 p.m., North Branch Library, 150 N. Palmetto, Sanford. Learn Hands-Only CPR & AED training with the Public Safety Specialist of the Seminole County Fire Department, Sharon Gregory. Pollinator Paradise:   Gardening for Butterflies and Beyond

Frederick deBary Day

Saturday, Feb. 15, 11 a.m., 1 p.m. & 2:30 p.m., DeBary Hall Historic Site, 198 Sunrise Blvd., DeBary. In 1998, the City of DeBary proclaimed the third Saturday in February to be Frederick deBary Day. To commemorate this significant day, DeBary Hall Historic Site will offer exclusive guided tours of the 153-year-old winter hunting estate with deBary family reenactors.
