Nolan Wilson will drive the No. 69 Kimmel Racing Ford Mustang at the 2025 Daytona ARCA 200 February 15 at Noon on FOX.

Former NASCAR Cup Series driver Jerry Nadeau will also make his return to the World Center of Racing as an advisor for Wilson.

“Nolan and I have worked together for years, he’s a good dude and a talented driver,” Nadeau said. “I’ll be around to help however I can. He’s got an experienced team in Kimmel racing. The sky is the limit at Daytona for the 69 to kick off the season.”

Kimmel Racing, founded by Bill Kimmel Sr., is a family run race team with a rich heritage in motorsports. The team has been a dominant force in the racing world for more than 75 years. Through its illustrious history, Kimmel Racing has produced multiple champions and has been a steppingstone for many successful drivers. The race team will field two cars during the Daytona ARCA 200. Wilson will drive the No. 69 and veteran Scott Melton will drive the No. 68 Ford Fusion.

“We are really excited for Daytona 2025. Excited to have Nolan in the Mustang and Scott in the Fusion,” team owner Bill (Will) Kimmel, Jr. said. “Hopefully we can benefit from having two cars that can help each other not only in testing, but also the race itself.”

Wilson is no stranger to the high banks of Daytona International Speedway. The 50-year-old raced at the track in the Goody’s Dash Series and has turned thousands of laps there as a driving instructor. The Sanford resident is also a short track veteran with a history of success at Volusia County Speedway and New Smyrna Speedway.

“I’ve been waiting for this for a long time,” Wilson noted. “To partner with Kimmel Racing is phenomenal, Bill and the 69 team have a such a rich tradition. As someone who grew up near this storied track, it’s a dream come true to finally get back behind the wheel and race at Daytona again.”

Wilson hit the DIS pavement for first time in the No. 69 on January 9-10 during the annual ARCA pre-race practice. A total of 70 drivers took part in the test, with Wilson and the No. 69 turning a lap of 50.814 seconds (177.117 Miles Per Hour), good for 34th overall.

The ARCA 2025 Hard Rock Bet 200 will take the green flag for the 62nd consecutive year on Saturday, February 15. FOX will broadcast the Daytona ARCA 200, the first time an ARCA Menards Series race will be broadcast live on an over-the-air network.

“I’m pumped to work with Bill, Will and the rest of Kimmel Racing,” Wilson said. “To also team with Jerry Nadeau is the cherry on top. I’m ready to lay it all out on the line in February.”
