UCF SOFTBALL
The UCF softball team opened the 2025 campaign with its annual season-opening Black & Gold Classic on Thursday and wraps up today (Sunday) at the UCF Softball Complex.
Here is the schedule:
Today (Saturday) _ James Madison University vs. N.C. State, 9 a.m.; JMU vs. Georgia, 11:30 a.m.; CSU-Bakersfield vs. Illinois, 2 p m.; UCF vs. Illinois, 5 p.m.
Sunday _ CSU-Bakersfield vs. Georgia, 9 a.m.; UCF vs. JMU, 11 a.m.; UCF vs. Illinois, 1 p.m.
The Knights will also be at home for single games with #15 Missouri at 6 p.m. on Tuesday and #20 Liberty on Wednesday at 5 p.m.

The Stetson women’s basketball team (12-10, 6-4 ASUN) are in Kentucky having faced Eastern Kentucky in Richmond on Thursday and today (Saturday) versus Bellarmine at historic Freedom Hall in Louisville at 2 p.m. The game will be streamed on ESPN+.
STETSON MEN
The Stetson men's basketball team (7-16, 5-5 ASUN) returned to Insight Credit Union Arena at Edmunds Center for a 2-game homestand beginning on Thursday against Jacksonville and today (Saturday) versus Eastern Kentucky at 4 p.m. The game will be streamed on ESPN+.
SSC BASEBALL
The Seminole State College of Florida baseball team (5-2) extended its winning streak to four games on Tuesday, rallying from a 4-0 deficit in the top of the second and scoring the winning run in the bottom of the eighth inning to edge Daytona State College, 5-4, at Jack Pantelias Field.
The Raiders are in Palatka taking part in the Capital City Bank Classic at St. Johns River State College, having faced Florence-Darlington Technical College (South Carolina) on Friday. Today (Saturday) SSC challenges East Georgia State College at 4 p.m. and will battle host SJRSC at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
The locals will travel to Daytona Beach on Tuesday for a rematch with DSC at 1 p.m.
