1945: The Year the War Ended: 1 p.m. Saturday, March 1. The largest war in human history ended in 1945. The United States had immense experience after long years of war in Africa, the Pacific, in the air, and on the ground in Europe. Join Ryan Lowry, historian and owner of Patriot Preservation, as he discusses the final days of World War II and how America fulfilled its promise of final victory. His presentation is part of the free Lemonade Lectures series sponsored by Volusia County. Light refreshments and lemonade will be served.
