UCF SOFTBALL
The UCF softball team (12-6-1) used strong pitching to go 4-1 in the SpaceU Classic this past weekend at the UCF Softball Complex.
Kaitlyn Felton (6-0) had a huge weekend, opening the tournament for the Knights by hurling her first career and the 25th no-hitter in program history in a 3-0 whitewashing of Quinnipiac, tossing 1/3-of an inning of relief as the Knights posted a 2-1 walkoff victory over FGCU and also threw a complete-game 4-2 victory over the Eagles on Sunday. The hosts also bested Pitt, 4-2, run-ruled Columbia, 8-0, in 5-innings, with Lena Elkins throwing a 1-hitter, and dropping a 7-3 decision to Ohio State in an added game late Saturday night.
UCF will travel to Boca Raton to take on No. 25 FAU today (Wednesday) at 5 p.m. on FAUSports.com.
The Knights will be back at home this weekend to host the Charge On Classic and here is the schedule:
Friday _ Georgia Southern vs. George Mason, 9 a.m.; Georgia Southern vs. North Florida, 11:30 a.m.; UCF vs. George Mason, 2 p.m.; Providence vs. North Florida, 4:30 p.m.; UCF vs. Providence, 7 p.m.

The Semi-Co-Ed/Fun League on Wednesday has The West End Trading Company playing a doubleheader against Throwbacks at 6:30 p.m. and Wet Spot at 7:30 p.m. Fusion will challenge Pat’s Liquor at 8:30 p.m.

The Seminole State College of Florida softball team (16-2) went 4-1 in the NFCA Leadoff at the South Commons Complex in Columbus, Georgia, defeating Southeastern Illinois College, 9-7, North Dakota State College of Science, 5-4, Walters State, 16-4, and Illinois Central, 9-1, before falling to Des Moines Area Community College, 9-1.
The Raiders were back on campus to open Citrus Conference play in a doubleheader against Santa Fe College on Tuesday at Courtney Miller Field and will travel to Ft. Myers to tackle Florida SouthWestern on Thursday in a doubleheader at 1 p.m.

SSC BASEBALL
The Seminole State College of Florida baseball team (12-6 overall, 4-2 Citrus Conference) swept a 3-games series against Miami Dade College, 6-5 in Miami on Thursday and 6-4 and 3-2 in a Saturday doubleheader at Jack Pantelias Field.
The Raiders were in Leesburg on Tuesday to challenge Lake Sumter State College before returning to Citrus Conference by hosting East Florida State on Thursday at 2 p.m. before traveling to Cocoa for a deuce with the Titans on Saturday.

UCF BASEBALL
The UCF baseball team (6-1) saw its six-game winning streak end in a 5-3 setback to Bryant on Sunday after posting a pair of comeback wins over the Bulldogs, a 7-6 walkoff on Friday and 4-2 on Saturday at John Euliano Park.
The Black and Gold closed out their 8-game homestand against FAU on Tuesday and will head to Tampa to face longtime rival South Florida in a 3-game series Friday-thru-Sunday, 6:30 p.m., 2 p.m. and 1 p.m. The games will be streamed on ESPN+, while live audio will be available by visiting UCFKnights.com or FM 96.9 The Game on the radio and live stats can also be followed at ucf.statbroadcast.com.
