To boost membership in the Sanford His toric Trust, the organization is pausing the member fee this year. The Trust’s next meeting is 7 p.m. Tuesday at the newly opened Sanford Galleon, 541 N. Palmetto Ave., Suite 103.
Trust president Brandy Cannon said the group has several initiatives this year to help make a lasting impact on the city’s future and is seeking ideas to help achieve the goals. The Trust’s mission is to protect, preserve and cul tivate the historic heritage of the city.
Those who attend the meeting will have a chance to win two tickets to the opening night films of the Love Your Shorts Film Festival on Feb. 14.
The new Sanford Galleon is a 4,000-square foot, nautical-themed event center overlooking Lake Monroe.
