SANFORD — It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon on Lake Monroe for the LMSA members that showed up for the monthly Sine Metu Jameson Irish Whiskey race, that will be sponsored by The Breezeway this year.
Six boats took to the water under bright blue skies, but the wind was slow to come around, and took a while to get the group moving. In the end it was a very competitive race with Steve Skills directing Fleur de Mer III to the victory by 1:23 over Black Jack under Ana Holstein. Shajaira, captained by Bob Fellingham, was a distant third, completing the podium.
