Joyce “Rochelle” Whitley, 87, was called home on February 18, 2025. She was born August 25, 1937 in Sanford, Florida and was a graduate of Sanford Seminole High School class of 1955. Rochelle loved working in her garden, bowling, sewing, ceramics and going to the beach. She was a former member of the Sanford Women’s Club, Order of the Eastern Star. She was also a Methodist.
Her greatest pleasures came from caring for her family and spending time in the mountains.
Rochelle is preceded in death by her parents, H.L. and Margaurite Eubanks of Lake Mary, her husband of 53 years L. Paul and her youngest son Steven in 2020. She is survived by her eldest son Mark (Tammy), granddaughters Amy (Johnny), Julie, Naomi (Austin), Brittany and grandson Joshua (Candice). Also 12 great- grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
