SANFORD — The Montverde Academy Eagles (9-4) became the first program in the Florida League High School Invitational's history to win a 3rd tournament championship, doubling up Lake Minneola (8-4), 4-2, in the Championship Game Friday afternoon at Historic Sanford Memorial Stadium. Their other two Championships came in 2018 and 2023.

The San Jacinto commit did it on the mound and at the plate in propelling Montverde Academy to their 3rd FHSI Championship. On the week Fronduto went 7-for-9 (.778) with 2 home runs, a 2B and 6 RBI. He also pitched 4.1 scoreless innings with 7 strikeouts.
In the Championship Game, he went 2-for-3 with a run scored and pitched a scoreless 5th, 6th and 7th innings with 5 strikeouts.

The left-hander kicked off the tournament with a dominant 5 inning performance against IMG Gray. The UCF commit allowed just 3 hits and 3 walks and 12 of the 15 outs he got were by way of strikeout.
