Swamp Walk

Saturday, March 29, 9 to 11 a.m., Spring Hammock Preserve in Longwood. Follow your guide through the unmarked trails of a real hydric hammock. Wade waist-deep in the murky waters of a swamp while learning about the amazing plants & animals that call this habitat home. Saturday, March 29, noon to 6 p.m., Sanford Avenue, Sanford. This pet friendly event features a craft beer festival, food trucks and a variety of vendors for people and their pets.

Camp Sunshine

Registration opens April 1 at 8 a.m. June & July -    Winter Springs Civic      Center. Camp Sunshine is a day camp for elementary aged children. Owl Prowl

Saturday, April 5, 7 to 9 p.m., Lake Proctor Wilderness Area (off Osceola Rd.) in Geneva. Explore the park after dark in search of owls. Identify owls by sight & hoots. Dulcimer Gathering

Sunday, April 6, 1 p.m., Rural Heritage Center, 101 E. Main St., Geneva. Try out one of our mountain dulcimers to see if you would like to learn or bring your own dulcimer & learn to play it. A dulcimer is one of the easiest instruments to learn to play. Genealogy Fair
