Central Florida’s own Lin Green announces the release of her debut memoir, Enough with the Secrets, Mama!, a poignant narrative that delves into the complexities of mother/daughter relationships, identity, resilience, and healing. The book officially launched on May 14, 2024, with a series of book signings and events that followed.
Enough with the Secrets, Mama! chronicles the journey of Lin’s family from the Dominican Republic to Puerto Rico and across the eastern United States, as they seek to establish a new life in their adopted country. Told from the perspective of a daughter navigating the challenges of a demanding yet self-empowered matriarch, the memoir offers readers an intimate glimpse into the trials and triumphs of an immigrant family. Lin’s narrative captures the essence of growing up amidst cultural shifts, sibling dynamics, and the pursuit of the American dream.

About the Author
Lin Green is a writer, advocate, blogger, and public speaker based in Seminole County, Florida. With a background in criminal justice, public administration, crisis intervention, and crisis counseling, Lin has dedicated over two decades to community advocacy. She is the founder of the inspirational platform “Issalivestyle by Lin Green” and a recipient of the FOX35 Orlando News Care Force Award. Lin’s work focuses on empowering women and underserved communities, drawing from her own experiences to inspire and uplift others.
