SSC BASEBALL
The Seminole State College of Florida baseball team (20-15 overall, 8-10 Citrus Conference) eased past East Florida State College, 11-3, in 7-innings at Jack Pantelias Field in a non-conference game on Tuesday before opening a 3-Game Conference Series on Thursday in Gainesville against Santa Fe College.
The Raiders and Saints are in Sanford today (Saturday) for a doubleheader starting at 12:30 p.m. before traveling to Ft. Pierce to face Indian River State College on Tuesday at 5 p.m.

SSC SOFTBALL
The Seminole State College of Florida softball team (29-9, 9-7 Citrus Conference) split a doubleheader with the College of Central Florida to Sanford on Tuesday, winning 11-3 and falling 12-11.
The Raiders will conclude a 6-game homestead by hosting St. Petersburg College for a conference doubleheader today (Saturday) at 1 p.m. before heading to Gainesville to tackle Santa Fe College in a doubleheader at 2 p.m.

UCF BASEBALL
The UCF baseball team will continue a four-game road stretch with a Big 12 Conference series at Cincinnati this weekend.
The three-game series opened Friday at UC Baseball Stadium. The series continues today (Saturday) at 3 p.m. and Sunday’s finale is slated for 1 p.m. All three games will be broadcast live on ESPN+. Sunday’s game will also air live on FM 96.9 The Game, while Saturday’s can be found on 810 AM Orlando. Live stats can be followed for all three games via UCF.StatBroadcast.com.
The Knights entered the weekend with a 17-7 overall record and a 3-3 conference mark. UCF is currently receiving votes for this week’s NCBWA Top 25 Poll and has won 11 of its last 14 contests.
The Knights again pitched well at Jacksonville on Tuesday night, but JU managed to score a trio of unearned runs to claim the tightly contested in-state game by a score of 3-2.
Six UCF pitchers limited the Dolphins to just four hits on the night, but four UCF errors proved to be costly, as JU scored three unearned runs early in the second inning and managed to hold on for the victory.
Grant Siegel, Angelo Smith, Camden Wicker, James Lordi, Carter Stanford and Spencer Bauer limited the Dolphins to just four hits and three unearned runs in the game. The group combined to strikeout seven and allowed just one hit past the third inning. Wicker led the group by tossing a season-high 2.2 innings of scoreless relief in the middle innings. Offensively, Kendrey Maduro led the Knights by going 2-for-3 with a double and a walk, while DeAmez Ross went 1-for-4 with a run scored and Edinal Espinal drove in a run.
NEW SMYRNA SPEEDWAY
New Smyrna Speedway will be hosting a Special Family Fun Night tonight (Saturday) with $5 General Grandstand Admission and kids 11 years of age and under free of charge if accompanied by paying Adult.
The evening’s racing action will feature Super Stocks, Ashley Homes JAX Trucks, Black Jack Seal Coating Bomber A, Bomber B, 602 Tour Modifieds and Spectator Races.
Pit gates open at 2 p.m. with Division Practice from 3:30 p.m.-to-5:15 p.m. Ticket booths and grandstand gates open at 5:30 p.m. Heat Races are at 6 p.m., followed by Feature Racing at 7:30 p.m.
