SANFORD — It was quite a week for Bad JuJu in Lake Monroe Sailing Association (LMSA) action this week.
Even with a different captain at the helm the Planing Boat was able to win both the Sine Metu Jameson Irish Whiskey Race last Sunday and the Malibu Rum Wednesday Night Race.
Under Dave Rink, Bad JuJu claimed the Jameson Race over Fleur de Mer III, which was the runners-up and Displacement Boat winner, under Steve S. and Black Jack, with Ana Holstein at the helm.
This past Wednesday, it was Jim White back in the Captain’s position and he guided Bd JuJu to the overall victory and top spot in Planing Boat over the John Chamberlain led crew on Nacra NA, which was also the top Multihull Boat, and UV, with Ray Laguna at the helm, which was also he Displacement Boat champion.
