GAINESVILLE (March 17) — On the heals of winning its fourth State Championship in school history, a pair of individuals from the Lake Mary High School girls soccer program have been recognized as the best in FHSAA Class 7A for the 2025 Florida Dairy Farmers Miss Soccer and Girls’ Soccer Coach of the Year following balloting by a statewide panel of high school girls’ soccer coaches and prep media representatives.
Senior forward Lindsay Sheets has been named the Florida Dairy Farmers Class 7A Girls Soccer Player of the Year after leading the Rams to a 19-3-2 record and the state title.
The Winthrop University signee, who scored 20 goals and added six assists this season, accumulated 77 votes from the statewide panel to finish ahead of Lily Paisant from Creekside with 51 votes and Ava Tutas from Palm Harbor University with 42 votes.
Christian Eissele was named the Florida Dairy Farmers Class 7A Girls Soccer Coach of the Year after leading Lake Mary’s first state title in 23 years.
The Rams leader dominated the voting, racking up 110 votes to 45 for runner-up Kody Drake from Jupiter High School and 40 for Kate Dwyer from Cypress Bay High School.
In five years since taking over for his Hall of Fame father, Bill Eissele, Christian has posted a 62-22-8 record, including a 34-4-6 record the past two years.
The Florida Dairy Farmers High School Sports Award program exemplifies Florida Dairy Farmers’ commitment to the state’s youth. This is the 33rd year of these unique awards as we honor the state’s top athletes and coaches in FHSAA sanctioned and recognized sports. the program also emphasizes to young people the importance of keeping dairy products a primary part of their diet in their overall nutrition plan.
