Celebrate Earth Day at the 5th Annual Love Your Mother Earth Day Festival

Celebrate Earth Day at the 5th Annual Love Your Mother Earth Day Festival

Join the city of Sanford for a fun-filled and environmentally focused day at the 5th Annual Love Your Mother Earth Day Festival sponsored by Deviant Wolfe Brewing, where we celebrate our planet and promote sustainability in all we do. This exciting event, taking place on 1st Street between Park and Oak Ave on Saturday, April 12th, will offer a variety of activities for all ages, featuring eco-friendly vendors, interactive exhibits, live entertainment, and much more!

The Earth Day Festival aims to raise awareness about environmental issues, inspire action to protect our planet, and provide practical solutions for living sustainably.

Whether you're an environmental enthusiast, a family looking for a day out, or someone just beginning to learn about eco-friendly practices, there will be something for everyone.

Event highlights include:

- An Eco-Vendor Marketplace: Explore products from local and sustainable businesses, from organic foods to eco-conscious fashion and home goods.

- Live music and entertainment: Enjoy live music from Heather DeSanctis and art from local artisans as part of the Great Outdoors: Wildlife Art Show on display in the Deviant Wolfe taproom.

- Family-friendly activities: Engage kids with fun crafts and chat with environmental nonprofit organizations that teach them about the importance of protecting our planet.

- And sustainable food and drinks: Savor a variety of plant-based and locally sourced food options while supporting sustainable eating habits.

“We strive to make a positive impact on our community in more ways than just making delicious craft beer,” said Shannon Rolfe, owner of Deviant Wolfe Brewing. “This festival is meant to highlight and support the work of local environmental nonprofits and Earth-friendly businesses, all while experiencing historic downtown Sanford.”

The festival is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring reusable water bottles and shopping totes, and utilize the Sanford Trolley to travel during their visit to downtown Sanford.
