Dust off your putters and don your most outrageous golf attire! The annual Sanford Mini Masters, a teeny tiny golf tournament, is set to transform the streets of Sanford into an 18-hole miniature golf extravaganza on Saturday, April 12th, from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Hosted by the beloved Celery City Craft (118 S. Palmetto Ave, Sanford, FL 32771), this whimsical event invites participants to putt-putt their way through a curated course spanning some of Sanford's most iconic establishments.
Participants can pick up their scorecards at Celery City Craft and embark on a unique golfing adventure, navigating 18 creatively designed holes scattered throughout the city. The participating locations include: Celery City Craft, Dees Bros Brewing, The Station, Buster's Bistro, Throwbacks, Wops Hops Brewing, The Yardery, Wild Wild West End Saloon. West End Trading Co, 1st Street Lounge, Hollerbach's, Deviant Wolfe Brewing, The Basin, Tuffy's Music Box, Loggerhead Distillery, The Wet Spot, Fuel BBQ, and Celery City Cigars (that is the order on the scorecard but you are welcome to play them in any order).
The Sanford Historical Society will be on hand, monitoring each hole and overseeing the scoring, ensuring fair play and adding a touch of historical charm to the event. All charity proceeds will directly benefit the Sanford Historical Society, supporting their vital work in preserving the city's rich heritage.
Adding to the fun, participants are encouraged to showcase their most creative and outlandish golf attire in a Best Dressed Contest. To enter, simply post your picture on Instagram and tag @celerycitycraft and/or use the hashtag #sanfordminimasters. Prizes will be awarded to the most stylish and imaginative golfers, as voted by the online community.Top performers on the course will also be recognized with prizes, making for a competitive yet lighthearted atmosphere. The event concludes back at Celery City Craft at 6:00 PM for the event wrap-up, scoring, and closing ceremonies, where winners will be announced and celebrated.
