SANFORD — Bad JuJu just keeps on winning.
The Planing Boat sailed to its third consecutive win with a third different captain at the helm as Kim White took the tiller and claimed four wins, winning the Overall and Planing Boat class in the Wednesday Night Malibu Rum Race and also claiming the Overall and Planing Boat win in the first Ladies on the Lake Wednesday Night Series race of the 2025 season.
White won the Malibu Run Race by 24-seconds over John Chamberlain on NacraNA, which was the Multihull winner, and 1:43 ahead of Wicklow Way, the Displacement Boat winner, with Lisa Gailey in charge.
In the LMSA Ladies Series race, White and Gailey took the top two steps of the podium over the Patti Miller piloted Black Jack 2, which came home third.
Following the racing, the group headed to Filomena’s for an awards ceremony and a social time.
