One thing that makes Dante a little unique is that he is FIV-positive. While this may sound intimidating at first, it doesn’t define him. Cats with FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) can live long, healthy, and happy lives, especially when kept indoors and given regular vet care. FIV is not transmittable to humans and is only spread between cats through deep bite wounds, making it safe for Dante to live with other friendly, non-aggressive cats. Dante is already neutered, microchipped, and fully up-to-date on all his vaccinations, which means he’s completely ready to go home the very same day he’s adopted. All he needs now is someone to look past the label and see the loving, devoted companion waiting for a second chance.
