GAINESVILLE — The Boombah-Soldiers Creek Park in Longwood has been selected to host the 2025 Florida High School Softball State Championships. In partnership with Seminole County and the Greater Orlando Sports Commission (GO Sports), Florida’s best high school softball teams in 2025 will seek a conclusion to their season within the friendly confines of Seminole County. The 2025 championship event featuring 32 teams will take place Tuesday, May 20 through Saturday, May 24.

Developed in 2017 and conveniently located in Longwood, Boombah-Soldiers Creek Park (known locally as 5-Points) on FL-419, a mile east of 17-92, was built with championship softball in mind. The state-of-the-art complex boasts six natural turf fields, with one stadium-style for seating up to 1,000 spectators. The field and complex have already hosted multiple marquee events and elite tournaments, including the 2024 NCAA Division II Softball National Championships, making it an ideal location for this year’s event.

“GO Sports and Seminole County’s commitment to host this year’s softball championship event at Boombah-Soldiers Creek Park, is a testament to the longstanding partnership we have had with both organizations, and their continued efforts to offer quality championships experiences for our member schools and participants”, said FHSAA Executive Director, Craig Damon. “We look forward to May and the chance to give our student-athletes, coaches, officials and attending spectators a high-level experience that they can remember for a lifetime.”

“Hosting the 2025 FHSAA Softball State Championships at Boombah-Soldiers Creek Park is a home run for Seminole County,” said Seminole County Board of County Commissioners Chairman Jay Zembower. “This event not only showcases our premier facilities but also reinforces the role of sports tourism as a powerful driver of economic development in Seminole County. We’re proud to welcome Florida’s top student-athletes and their families to experience all that Seminole County has to offer.”

“We are so pleased to partner with Seminole County and the FHSAA to host the 2025 FHSAA Softball State Championships at Boombah-Soldiers Creek Park,” said Jason Siegel, President & CEO of the Greater Orlando Sports Commission. “GO Sports has a long history of partnering with FHSAA, and this event is an opportunity to celebrate student-athletes from across the state of Florida. We look forward to working with the venue, and our hotel and tourism partners to create a first-class championship experience for the players, coaches and families that will travel to Seminole County.”
