Saturday, April 26, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. & Sunday, April 27, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Downtown Sanford on First Street. St. Johns River Festival of the Arts returns featuring artists, musicians, art demonstrations & hands-on art experiences.  

 

SSAA Monthly Meeting

Saturday, April 26, 12 to 3 p.m., Seminole County Sheriff’s Department, Community Room, 100 Eslinger Way, Sanford. Sanford Seminole Art Association Monthly Meeting. Free, open to public. Nocturnal Reptile     Ramble

Saturday, April 26, 7 to 9 p.m., Black Bear Wilderness Area, Sanford. First ever night hike in the Black Bear Wilderness Area. Search for hidden swamp creatures including nocturnal snakes & alligators. Program is designed for adventurous & agile hikers. Ages 10+.  Children must be accompanied by an adult. Docs Rock for NF and 80s Dance Battle

Sunday, April 27, 4 to 6 p.m., 274 Cranes Roost Blvd., Altamonte Springs. Join the Neurofibromatosis Network for Docs Rock for NF for a night of great music, good vibes and impact. Enjoy free admission, food truck bites, a performance by Stone Lotus and an NF auction. 

 

Jeep Night

Line Dancing Lessons

Melissa’s Race to Battle Brain Cancer

NAMI Walks

Saturday, May 3, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., 274 Cranes Roost Blvd., Altamonte Springs. Join the movement for mental health at NAMIWalks Greater Orlando. This annual event brings the community together to raise awareness and support for mental health advocacy. Participants of all ages can walk, donate or fundraise to help expand free mental health programs and resources. Whether you're walking in honor of a loved one or to support the cause, every step makes a difference.

 

Tracks and Scat Class

Saturday, May 3, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Geneva Wilderness Area/Ed and Imogene Yarborough Nature Center, Geneva.  Learn to read the clues animals leave behind! Practice deciphering bones, tracks, scat and more. Enjoy an informative class in the nature center and create a plaster track of your own. Test your new tracking skills with a hike in the wilderness in search of animal sign. Ages 5+. Cost: $8/person, Registration required: recreation.seminolecountyfl.gov.
