Traditions from countries around the globe took center stage during Seminole Science Charter School’s International Night this month. Children and their families got to taste decadent cuisine from multiple countries while learning about each location’s rich history. The main event featured a dozen student performances including Colombia’s famous cumbia dancing and a demonstration of India’s Silambam martial arts. The annual festivities embrace the importance of learning about other cultures.
