Habitat for Humanity Seminole-Apopka announced the winners of its Volunteer Appreciation Awards at a recent Ceremony held  at Eastmonte Park Civic Center in Altamonte Springs. 

The event celebrated the contributions of volunteers who played a crucial role in achieving the organization's milestone of building more than 250 homes.

Volunteers are the backbone of Habitat for Humanity, and their dedication and hard work have been instrumental in advancing the organization's mission to provide affordable housing solutions. The milestone of building the 250th home is a testament to the transformative power of volunteerism, helping to serve more families, reduce labor costs, foster community engagement, and improve the economic and social well-being of the neighborhoods they serve.

“Our volunteers are our strongest champions, helping us reach the milestone of building our 250th home while fostering community engagement and raising awareness about affordable housing,” said Penny Seater, CEO of Habitat for Humanity Seminole-Apopka. “We deeply appreciate their unwavering commitment and celebrate their achievements today."
