The Oviedo-Winter Springs Lions Club is proud to announce its 2025 scholarship recipients, recognizing four outstanding high school seniors for their academic achievement, community involvement, and leadership potential.
This year’s honorees were celebrated at a special dinner hosted by the Club, where members, families, and friends gathered to recognize the students' accomplishments and support their bright futures.
Recipients of the $1,000 Lion Dennis Dulniak Book Scholarship:
• Arianna M. – Hagerty High School
• Valeria C. – Winter Springs High School
• Taylor W. – Oviedo High School
Recipient of the Florida Lions District 35-O YESTF (Youth Exchange Scholarship Trust Fund) Scholarship:
• Samuel G. – Oviedo High School
“We were truly inspired by the passion and dedication of these young leaders,” said Lion JC Alvarez, President of the Oviedo-Winter Springs Lions Club. “Each of them represents the values our Club holds dear—service, perseverance, and a commitment to making the world a better place. It was our privilege to honor their achievements and support their educational journeys.”
The Oviedo-Winter Springs Lions Club is dedicated to supporting local youth through education and service. In addition to its annual scholarship program, the Club provides free vision screenings, holiday meals, volunteer opportunities, and support for vulnerable populations across Central Florida.
