Diane Wilson, 75, of Sanford, Florida, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 31st, at her residence. Born on October 13, 1949, she was one of five children of Donald E. Wilson Sr. and Annie W. Blackshear, who preceded her in death. Diane worked as a Lab Technician for GlaxoSmithKline Medical Laboratory in Atlanta, Georgia, for many years until her health began to decline. She relocated back to Sanford, Florida, a few years ago. Diane was also preceded in death by two brothers, Donald E. Wilson Jr. and Eugene Wilson, and one sister, Francine “Tina” Beck.
She is survived by her sister Gail Office, who served as her caregiver, as well as nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
A public wake for Diane Wilson will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Wilson-Eichelberger Mortuary, 1110 Pine Avenue, Sanford, Florida, 32771. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the funeral home, with her cousin, Elder Leonard LJ Wilson of St. Matthews Missionary Baptist Church, delivering the eulogy.
