Senator Rick Scott recently joined state, local, and emergency management officials in Sanford for a press conference to urge Floridians to get prepared ahead of the 2025 Hurricane Season which began June 1. Senator Scott continues his statewide tour urging Floridians to be prepared for any potential weather and get their emergency kits and plans ready to keep themselves and their families safe because preparedness saves lives.
Senator Scott is working on the federal level to ensure every Floridian is prepared and stays safe throughout hurricane season, and recently led a hearing of the Senate Special Committee on Aging on disaster preparedness for our nation’s seniors.
