Work is underway on the latest improvement to Trotwood Park in Winter Springs by constructing a new pavilion. The new pavilion is part of a multi-year improvement project at the park, including a new basketball court, parking lot, and playground improvements.
The new pavilion is being constructed entirely by City of Winter Springs Parks Department staff at a fraction of the cost, resulting in the City saving nearly $250,000 on the project.
The latest addition to the park is part of the City of Winter Springs Perk Up Parks Initiative, which focuses on improving City parks and play areas to strengthen our community and the overall quality of life.
