Looking for a sweet, playful pup to be your summertime sidekick? Meet Nyx, a 2-year-old beauty who’s been waiting patiently at Seminole County Animal Services since April, and she’s more than ready to trade in her kennel for a comfy couch and a backyard to run in. Nyx is a little shy when you first meet her, but don’t let that fool you. With a few tasty treats and some kind words, she quickly opens up and shows off her loving, affectionate personality. Once she feels safe, she’s a total sweetheart who wants nothing more than to be your best friend. She’s also a social butterfly with other dogs, Nyx is a star in our playgroups and loves to run, romp, and play. If you have a dog at home, she might just be the perfect match. Nyx does have an allergy to chicken, but it’s easily managed with a modified diet, and she doesn’t let it slow her down one bit. Nyx is already spayed, micro- chipped, heartworm negative, and up to date on all vaccinations, so she can head home with you the very same day’s adopted. With the summer heat in full swing, Nyx is dreaming of a cool, cozy place to call home. Whether it’s lounging in the AC or joining you for early morning walks, she’s ready to soak up every moment of life as a beloved pet.
