Michael Muse Obituary

Michael Lynn Muse

DECEMBER 13, 1957 – APRIL 29, 2025

He wasn’t here for a long time but he sure had a good time!

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Michael Lynn Muse of Debary, Florida, on April 29th at the age of 67. He passed from this life in peace, his hand held and his heart full, surrounded by the enduring love of his family. His final moments were a reflection of the care and devotion he gave throughout his life.

Mike was born on December 13, 1957 in Sanford, Florida to Herbert & Jessie Mae Muse. Mike was known for his love of the outdoors. He spent most of his days hunting, fishing & camping. Mike retired from the Seminole County School Board after more than 35 years of employment. He was a great friend to so many, which is where he also earned several nicknames such as Wooly Booger or Camo.

Mike is survived by his daughters, Tiffany Muse Stern(Bobby), Amy Price(Jimbo) & their mother, Myra Muse. Five grandsons, Dustin Stern, Colton Price, Jacob Stern, Blake Stern, Luke Price, along with one granddaughter, Lacey Price, two brothers Doug Muse, Gary Muse(Lyvonne) & Sister, Cindy Stiffey(Tom), as well as, his nieces & nephews. Mike was preceded in death by his loving parents, Herbert & Jessie Mae Muse.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Wounded Warrior Project in Mike’s memory.

He wasn’t here for a long time but he sure had a good time!

Please join us as we honor and celebrate the life of Mike Muse—a person who lived fully, loved deeply, and never passed up a good time. In true Wooly Booger fashion, we’ll be gathering with food, drinks, laughter, and stories to remember the man we all loved.
