Pet of the Week - Meet Mouth, at 10 years old,
he’s large, vocal, opinionated, and
completely misunderstood. Life at
the shelter hasn’t been easy for
him, and he’s not afraid to let us
know. Mouth meows, yowls, howls,
yells and hisses his way through
the day, airing every complaint
with dramatic flair. But give him
a little time, a quiet space, and a
chance to decompress, and you’ll
see there’s a sweet, affectionate
cat underneath all that sass.
Once he feels safe, Mouth leans
into pets, purrs softly, and even
seeks out attention. He’s just a cat
who wants to be heard, and after
a decade of life, he’s earned that
right. All Mouth really needs is a pa-
tient and understanding home, one
that sees past the dramatics and
recognizes the tender heart hiding
behind all the noise. Mouth is neu-
tered, up to date on vaccines, FIV/
FeLV negative, and ready to head
home the same day he’s adopted.
If you’re the kind of person who
doesn’t mind a little background
noise and appreciates a cat with
character, Mouth might just be
your perfect summer match.
Adoption hours are Monday
through Friday from 12–6 and
Saturday from 10–4. Come visit
him at Seminole County Animal
Services, 232 Eslinger Way in San-
ford. Spend a few minutes with
him, you just might find his com-
plaints charming. To view Mouth
