We have a special double feature this week! Meet two very deserving dogs, Ruby and Peter. These two came into our care in early April when their previous owner could no longer care for them. While they aren’t a bonded pair, they’ve been together for quite some time and have found comfort in each other’s company during their stay at the shelter. While Ruby is 11 and Peter is 7 don’t let their ages fool you, these two still have plenty of energy and love to play! They enjoy yard time together, are always happy to greet visitors, and have wonderful, gentle temperaments. They get along with other dogs, and are very treat motivated. Ruby and Peter are both spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations making them ready to head home the same day they’re adopted. While they can be adopted separately, we’d love to see them go home together. Stop into the shelter at 232 Eslinger Way in Sanford, Fl to meet Ruby and Peter. Adoption hours are Monday through Friday from 12–6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m.– 4 p.m. Let’s help Ruby and Peter find the loving retirement home they so deserve, maybe even together!
