FF Lubrin, FF Reilly, FF Moscone, PM Gerritson, FF M. Gonzalez, FF Simmons, FF Hough, FF Hillery, FF Stalker, and FF J. Gonzalez completed an intense 3-day class put on by SPD Ofc. Hernandez.
The Fire Department’s Bike Team is a vital resource that enhances our ability to respond swiftly in crowded or high-traffic areas. Equipped to provide advanced life support (ALS), team members can reach patients quickly and begin critical care while larger emergency units, such as ambulances, work to navigate congested scenes. The bike team frequently attends large-scale city events like the annual Sanford airshow, The Star Spangled Sanford 4th of July event, Altamonte’s Red Hot and Boom, and other large gatherings, ensuring rapid medical response when seconds matter most.
