Florida 4-H Food Challenge Family Info Workshop
Thursday, August 21, 6 to 8 p.m., UF/IFAS Extension Seminole County 250 W. County Home Road, Sanford. Free. Join an engaging and interactive workshop designed for youth (ages 5-18) and their grown-ups, where you’ll dive into all things Florida 4-H Food Challenge. During this session, we’ll break down the ins and outs of the challenge—and then roll up our sleeves for a mock competition. In the Florida 4-H Food Challenge youth team up in groups of 3–4, by age division, to plan, prepare, and present a dish, all while being assessed on food safety, teamwork, time/resource management, presentation skills, and creativity.
