Mother Annie L. Tillman, 96, answered the voice of God calling her name on Friday, July 11, 2025. She was born to the late Eliza Robinson Jones and Charles Jones, Sr., in Lake Helen, Florida on October 4, 1928. She attended Volusia County Public Schools. She had thirteen siblings, and she left to cherish her memories younger brothers, Sylvester Jones, Daytona Beach, Florida, and Alton Jones Sr., Lake Helen Florida. She was a dedicated member of Mt. Olive A.M. E. Church in Sanford, Florida where she served for many years. She loved and cared for her family with grace and strength. She was a full-time homemaker and a self-taught seamstress. She was an avid gardener and farmer. She was preceded in death by her sons: Alfred Taylor, and Tony Tillman She married the late Willie Tillman and moved to Sanford, Florida. To this union, eleven children were raised. Gloria Sermon, Hora Tillman, Siad Ali, Elder Willie Tillman( Patricia), Wanda Tillman, Terry Tillman Sr., Craig Tillman, Greg Tillman, and Tammi Tillman. Her service was held on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at New Covenant House of Worship, Inc. Final arrangements were entrusted to A.C. WYNN FUNERAL SERVICES, INC. (321) 363-3685.
