Janet LaVerne Garner, 80 of Sanford, Florida, passed away on June 24, 2025 in Sanford. Janet was born on June 17,1945, in Chicago, Illinois to Ola Jane and Emmett. She was married to Bobby Garner, and together they built a loving family. Janet a devoted homemaker, caring for her family, sharing her love of crafting and baking. She was strong willed, a sharp sense of humor, and she enjoyed listening to Elvis Presley and Conway Twitty, admired classic GTO cars, boxer dogs, and her love of Disney.
Janet is survived by her husband Bobby. Children, James, Michael, and Victoria Garner; her 21 grands and great-grands. Siblings, Robert Harvey, Patrick Harvey and Robin Matthias.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Lee P. Moore Park.
