Addition Financial recently unveiled a renovated "needs space" at Millennium Middle School in Sanford as part of their "Renovate to Educate" event.
The renovated space, supporting homeless and low-income students was a project partnership with Seminole State College’s Interior Design Program. Those involved transformed an area into a resource area stocked with food, clothing and other essentials.
A school administrator at Millennium Middle School shared that the "Falcon Store" will become a one-stop shop for students, including a food pantry, clothing closet and personal hygiene items.
This renovation is part of a broader initiative by the Addition Financial Foundation to create or enhance "needs spaces" in four Central Florida schools this year.
