The Seminole County Republican Executive Committee is hosting its annual Lincoln Day Dinner, a gala featuring several prominent statewide officials, at 7 p.m. on Sept. 13, at the Westin Lake Mary.

The event brings together community leaders and supporters to focus efforts on upcoming campaigns, party operations, and community outreach programs. Confirmed speakers include Florida’s new Lieutenant Governor Jay Collins, Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier, and Chief Financial Officer Blaise Ingoglia. Senate President Pro Tempore Jason Brodeur, from Seminole County, will be the emcee.

"Our mission is to help elect Republicans, so we can keep our county one of the best places to live in the nation," said Steve Collins, chair of the Seminole County Republican Executive Committee. “Seminole County will be a hotly contested area for the 2026 midterm races, and we want candidates who will continue the path toward fiscal responsibility for government and freedom-first policies that help everyone, like quality education and job growth.”

Tickets for the dinner event are priced at $150 for general admission and $300 for VIP-level sponsorship, which includes an invitation to a VIP-only cocktail reception. The event helps support local election efforts to defend the county’s Republican incumbents and elect qualified Republicans to open offices in the 2026 election year.

"If you love what Governor DeSantis has done for Florida, you won’t want to miss hearing from this Lincoln Day lineup featuring some of his strongest allies for Florida First," added Linda Trocine, Republican State Committeewoman.

The Lincoln Day Dinner, named for Abraham Lincoln, the first Republican elected as President who is credited with abolishing slavery, is an event held by Republican Party Committees across the state. It serves to unite the party around the values of the Republican platform (www.2024gopplatform.com), focused on restoring fiscal sanity and bringing a commonsense approach back to government.
