The Seminole County Board of County Commissioners along with County Manager Darren S. Gray recently honored the retirement of beloved broadcaster and Lake Mary resident Coach Lee Corso in the Seminole County Commission Chambers.
August 26, 2025 was officially proclaimed as “Lee Corso Day” in Seminole County.
Coach Corso, known nationally for his decades as an analyst on ESPN’s College GameDay and his iconic catchphrase “Not so fast, my friend,” has been a tremendous ambassador for the game of football, for his community, and for life itself.
