The Oak Street Clubhouse was filled with smiles and encouragement at its Woman’s Club of Sanford Luncheon on Wednesday, September 3. Hostess Janet McLendon organized the fete, with over thirty women in attendance. A delicious potluck lunch was served thanks to the generosity of WCOS President Christina Hollerbach.
From the microphone, it was revealed that two previous WCOS Educational Scholarship Recipients had reached out to thank the group. One recipient, Jamila, personally hand-wrote forty thank-you cards to WCOS members for Luncheon attendees, sending in tandem a letter stating that the group is “a shining example of what women accomplish when we lift one another up.”
The organization celebrated its newly-approved Club Members Michelle McCann, Amber Babcock, Teri Siciliano, and Susan Klink. (Siciliano and Klink could not be present due to prior commitments.)
Reconvening post-summer, WCOS shared its plans and ideas for its 2025-2026 season. Current members received yearbooks, committees were reviewed, and hostesses were assigned for all upcoming meetings this season.
WCOS announces that its Membership Application is now online, making it easier for individuals to apply for membership conveniently from a phone and/or computer.
