Second Harvest Food Banks adds New Young Professionals Seat, welcomes Ryan Grail to its Board of Directors

Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida recently appointed Ryan Grail to its Board of Directors as the first representative of the organization’s Young Professionals Committee. This newly created seat ensures the group will have ongoing representation on the board each year.

Grail has been involved with Second Harvest for several years, most recently serving as chair of its Young Professionals Committee, where he has helped grow membership and boost fundraising efforts. He has served on other local boards and committees, including the Apartment Association of Greater Orlando, Orange County’s Citizens Review Board, the LGBT+ Real Estate Alliance and the Orange County Board of Zoning Adjustment.

“Ryan combines strategic insight with a genuine commitment to service,” said Derrick Chubbs, President and CEO at Second Harvest. “His perspective will be invaluable as we explore new opportunities to fight hunger and bring hope to more families across Central Florida.”

An Orlando native, Grail graduated from the University of Central Florida.
