19th Puerto Rican and Multicultural Festival

The 19th Puerto Rican and Multicultural Festival will take place on Saturday, Nov. 8 at the Sanford Civic Center from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. with a medical clinic also adding to the event from 1 to 4 p.m. The festival and medical clinic are free and open to the public with parking in front of the Sanford Civic Center.

A special designated area will be available for older adults with quiet music and surprises. Horizon Medical Clinic will also be giving away two vitamin infusion certificates at the Sanford Clinic, valued at $250 each, for the best couple and additional prizes for attendees. Requirements are Seniors 55 and over and must register at the Civic Center entrance.

Hosted by the Association of Puerto Rican Living in Florida Inc., the invitation extends from more than a decade of culture, music and community. Promoters add that this year the festival will be double, with two tarimas full of talent and joy.

Guest artists include Mariachis Tequila, Carnival of Colombia, Swing d’Kalle,

Jenilca, The Bombys, Heads, dancers and the D PR closing with a gold brooch

Senior Tarima - Harold Trapiche, Andy Gutiérrez and more.

In addition, the festival will be overflowing with local artisans and vendors, typical and international food, government and security departments, prizes, raffles and lots of surprises as well as free admission and parking.
