Firefighters run every call like you're a family member. In the case of this Unit Team Citation Award, that truly was the case. Seminole County Fire Department Rescue 34 and Lake Mary Fire Department Quint 37 saved Battalion Chief TJ Martin's mother-in-law Myrna from a major cardiac event. The Martin family was traveling and Lake Mary FD's Lt. Brandt called TJ to let him know about the incident.
Today, the crew reunited with Myrna and the medical staff and personnel at HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital came together to celebrate.
