Congratulations to Officers Luke Nakamura, Logan Smith and Tyler Stimpson who were presented with a 2025 Award of Commendation from Deputy Chief Brian Foley. These three officers responded to a drowning call in May involving a child. When they arrived on scene, officers immediately started CPR, doing multiple cycles of compressions until the child regained a faint pulse. Officers also assisted with AED and airway clearance. Due to their actions, the child was successfully transported to the hospital. This is an example outstanding service to our community.
