Ali’s Hope Annual Glassful of Hope

Thursday, Nov. 13, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., Cranes Roost Park, Alt. Spgs. The Glassful of Hope Wine Walk supports Ali’s Hope Foundation in its mission to inspire hope and improve the quality of life for young adults living with mental illness. This special evening invites guests to enjoy wine tastings while raising funds that allow the foundation to continue providing advocacy, education and support. Thanks to generous sponsors, Ali’s Hope Foundation can host events like this while expanding its efforts to create meaningful change. This is a ticketed event. Family Fun Campout

Saturday, Nov. 15, 2 p.m. to Sunday, Nov. 16, 9 a.m., Geneva Wilderness Area, 3485 N. County Road 426, Geneva. $20 per person/per campout. Event is tailored for families with children ages 4 to 12 who want a crash course in camping. Meals included. Sanford Historical Society Meeting

tools he used for the trade as well as his memories of cutting hair in Sanford. This in in conjunction with ‘A Cut Above: Barber Shops, Beauty Salons, and Community in Sanford’ display currently at the museum.

Explore what Florida animals eat, how they find food and who joins them at their Thanksgiving table. Meet & greet with live animals at the nature center & create a pine cone turkey craft before heading out for a hike to spy wild creatures on the trails.
